FOLD FAQ's

  • Owning your own Fold Reformer provides convenience, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. You can practice Pilates anytime without scheduling conflicts, customize your workouts to your specific needs, and save money on studio memberships in the long run.

  • Not all reformers are made equal. The FOLD Reformer designed in the UK is patent-pending, with the design and patent owned by the FOLD team. It includes key features you won’t find on cheaper alternatives.

When researching your next Reformer, we’d recommend considering:

    • Can you see and try the bed in person? A reformer is a big investment, and you’ll notice the difference when you try it.
    • Does the brand own the design or patent? Many lower-cost models are mass-produced, white-labelled products.
    • What warranty is offered?
    • Do the reviews look genuine? No business is perfect – if you only see flawless 5-star reviews, it’s worth digging deeper.
    • If something goes wrong, do they hold spare parts so they can get you back up and running quickly?

  • Our patented, spring-assisted Easi-Fold™system makes folding and unfolding your Reformer effortless and safe. It’s designed to be the easiest and smoothest folding mechanism on the market, meaning less strain and more convenience. Discover just how easy it is, and how it works.

  • Yes, we're extremely proud to be one of just a few Reformer Pilates manufacturers globally using real wood, so much so we have a whole article dedicated to why we use real American hardwoods.

We'd always advise checking with manufacturers whether they use real wood, as many use rubber wood which might share similar aesthetics but is unlikely to be as durable.

  • Yes, we've specifically designed the new FOLD TOWER to fit exclusively to the first edition and the latest Original FOLD Reformer - with Easi-Fold.

Reviews

Let the journey Un -FOLD

"So excited to have my reformer in our home. I have attended reformer classes for years off and on. Costs are a barrier as it is getting more and more expensive to attend classes. Looking at the costs of buying against going to classes it made sense to buy. The FOLD reformer is as good if not better than some in studios I have been to.. the monthly ly cost of buying is cheaper than my monthly classes and the online classes are great - very happy thank you"

— Jane (5/5)

I am so glad I went for Fold for my home reformer

"It's such high quality, not like a lot of the slightly cheaper reformers. So worth spending the little bit extra, it's built to last, I use mine at least 4 times a week - sometimes more with private clients and they love it too. Customer service is great and the freebies like the access to classes + props are amazing."

— Mikala. T. (5/5)

Great piece of kit

"Very happy. Ordered on the 18th August arrived yesterday the 11th September with constant updates on delivery. I had some reservations about ordering this as it’s a huge treat, in every sense. Did my first workout this morning. Good quality and very sturdy. Effortless assemble. Easy to fold away and looks good too. I love it."

— Camille (5/5)

From Compact to fully loaded in seconds

"I love my Fold Reformer. It is high quality design, smooth flowing and easy to use. From set up to set down every detail has been consider. The compact folded machine is simple to move around and with the easi-Fold system couldn’t be easier to pack up and set up. The carriage is super smooth, the ropes a delight and the springs fantastic. I will definitely be recommending Fold to anyone I talk to and when I come to owning my own studio space Fold will be my first call for my equipmnent"

— Jennifer W. (5/5)

Extremely happy with my purchase

"Great communication from the team. On time and professional delivery. Easy to set up. Beautiful bit of equipment. Very quiet and smooth. All my research suggested this would be the case and it turned out that way. Looking forward to many years of Reformer. Thank you."

— Antonia H. (5/5)

Definitely worth the wait!

"A long wait! My reformer arrived 2 months after placing my order and I had a little glitch over the expected delivery time. However when it arrived it was very well packaged and protected, and delivery was straight forward, exactly as described by Fold. Assembly was easy using the video for guidance. I managed it without help, the only fiddly bit was attaching the foot-bar. The machine is beautiful, exceptionally well made and a joy use. Everything works smoothly and all the little extras were a lovely touch. I’ve only had my reformer for a week and so far the app has been great. Would definitely recommend."

— Anne (5/5)

Love this reformer

"I’m really enjoying my Fold reformer. It works well, looks great and is easy to fold away when I’ve finished using it. I love Fold videos. It means I can exercise whenever I want in my own home. The only criticism I have of the videos is I’d like them to give just a little more time to get in position before they begin but other than that they’re great."

— tracey (5/5)

Love it

"The Machine is super - exactly what I was looking for. It’s a little heavy to manoevre on my own but manageable. Love the colour theme I chose as well. Thankyou"

— Alison D. (5/5)

Fabulous

"I’m so much loving my reformer ! Get up every morning to use it !"

— Tina (5/5)

Cannot praise highly enough! Superb!

"I am absolutely delighted with my Original FÔLD Reformer with Easi‑Fold. The quality is outstanding - sturdy, smooth, and clearly built with real care. The folding mechanism is genuinely clever and makes it easy to store without any fuss. It’s been a brilliant addition to my home routine and has made Pilates feel more accessible and enjoyable. The additional box and 12 month free access to the app is such a great bonus. Overall how the machine was packed was brilliant and the video to help unpack was so super helpful also, and the delivery was super fast . I would highly recommend their company to anyone."
